Track Layout History
2007 - Jackson Loop Complete
  • Another track was added to the already crowded crossing at Eagle Point, making it more unique than it already was
  • Industrial tracks were added at Jackson Loop, Fredonia and Bakewell while the Yard at Cumberland took shape
  • Jackson Loop was the big track story for the year adding a draw bridge, tall curved trestle, tunnel and opening up access to the area above Stillhouse where the Tracy City branch reached Swanee siding and you could look down on a large area of the railroad as if viewed from a scenic overlook
  • The Sequatchie branch did get extended at both ends for a total of about 500' of new track
  • Additionally, the Allen Time Saver was used for the first by a visiting Boy Scout troop
